Job Opening: Relationship Officer – Merchant Acquisition

IndusInd BankJoin IndusInd Bank as a Relationship Officer in Merchant Acquisition and play a key role in expanding the bank’s merchant network while driving revenue growth in the payments and acquiring business.
Key Responsibilities:
Acquire and onboard new merchants for payment solutions (such as POS machines, swipe machines, and other digital payment products).
Manage end-to-end merchant onboarding process, from lead generation and pitching to documentation, deployment, and activation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure high satisfaction and resolve issues promptly.
Drive transaction growth and business activation by revisiting key merchants and monitoring performance.
Ensure full compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, risk, support) to achieve smooth execution and operational excellence.
Identify high-potential micro-markets and categories for focused acquisition efforts.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Graduate with 0–3 years of experience (preferably in banking, financial services, insurance, or sales of financial products like current accounts or merchant services).
Strong sales orientation with proven ability to meet targets in field sales or merchant acquisition.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interactions.Good analytical abilities and proactive problem-solving mindset.
Leadership potential, adaptability to fast-paced environments, and a customer-centric approach.
Two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred (as this is a field-based role).
